Offer structure
How to structure a coaching offer as an author
Structure a coaching offer by defining five things: who it is for, the result, the format, the length, and the price.
Book Profits Club teaches authors to structure a premium coaching offer that extends the method in their book. When those five parts are clear, the offer is easy to explain on a sales call, easy to place inside the book, and easy to price. The worksheet on this page helps test a price against a client count.

What should a coaching offer include?
A coaching offer should include a named client, one promised result, a delivery format, a time frame, what the client gets each week, and a price. If any of these is vague, the offer is hard to sell.
For authors, the curriculum often follows the book. Each major chapter can become a step or session. Book Profits Club calls this building a signature curriculum, and lists it as a fit for its Premium tier, aimed at members who already have a book and want to scale.
Coaching offer formats, compared
Each format is judged on the same four points. No format is best for everyone.
| Format | Clients needed | Your time per client | Best stage | Club training that relates |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| One-on-one coaching | Few | High | First offer | Premium coaching offers, High-Ticket Sales Mastery |
| Group program | More | Medium | Once common problems are clear | Signature curriculum, Operational Scaling |
| Mastermind | Small group | Medium | Experienced members | Launching a profitable mastermind |
| Community membership | Many | Low | Recurring revenue | Growing an engaged community |
Six steps to structure your offer
- Write the client sentence: who it is for, in plain words.
- Write the result sentence: what changes for them by the end.
- Pick a format from the table above.
- Set a length that fits the result, such as a fixed number of weeks.
- List what is included each week: calls, reviews, templates, messaging.
- Set and test the price with the worksheet below, then refine it with real conversations.
Coaching offer revenue worksheet
Enter a monthly price, a client count, and your costs to see a simple monthly and yearly estimate. The assumptions appear with the result. It is a planning aid, not a promise of income.

Common questions
- What is a coaching offer?
- A coaching offer is a defined package of paid support: a specific outcome for a specific person, delivered in a set format over a set time for a set price. For authors, the strongest offers usually extend the method in the book, so a reader who liked the ideas can get personal help applying them. More in the FAQ
- Should my first coaching offer be one-on-one or group?
- For most authors, a one-on-one offer is the simplest first step because it needs fewer clients and teaches you what readers struggle with. Group programs and masterminds can follow once you know the common problems. Book Profits Club training covers premium offers, community growth, and launching a mastermind. More in the FAQ
- How much should I charge for a coaching offer?
- Price from the value of the outcome, your experience, and how much access you give, not from the price of your book. There is no single correct number. Use the revenue worksheet on the offer structure page to test prices against client counts, and treat the result as an estimate, not financial advice. More in the FAQ
- What does high-ticket coaching mean?
- High-ticket coaching means a premium priced offer, usually with more access, more depth, and a bigger promised result than a low cost product. Book Profits Club offers a High-Ticket Sales Mastery track focused on refining your closing method and structuring offers so you can charge premium prices with confidence. More in the FAQ
- What is a signature curriculum?
- A signature curriculum is your repeatable method, laid out as steps or modules a client moves through. For authors, it often mirrors the chapters of the book. Book Profits Club lists building a signature curriculum as a fit for its Premium tier, aimed at members who already have a book and want to scale. More in the FAQ
- Do I need a coaching certification to sell coaching?
- Requirements depend on your field and location, so confirm what applies to you. Many coaches build offers from lived expertise and published work, while bodies like the International Coaching Federation offer credentials for those who want them. Book Profits Club focuses on offer design, sales, and visibility rather than certification. More in the FAQ
